Introduction to Manual Testing

Testing can be done by Humans or by Machines. When humans test software, it is called as Manual Testing. While manual testing has certain drawbacks as mentioned below.

• Boring repeatative process
• Prone to human errors
• Time consuming
• Costly

To overcome these drawbacks, most of the projects use automated testing. But you should remember that we can not automate all test scenarios. Here is the list of few examples where you will need to rely on manual testers.
