Brinjal farming in Maharashtra - Yield and profit per acre

Time to harvest

From plantation, you can start harvesting in 4-6 months time. Average life of plant is 1 year.

Yield

In 1 acre, you can make 25 to 30 ton yield.

Profit loss

Scenario A - 25 ton yield

With rate of say Rs. 10 per kg, revenue will be 2.5 lakhs. If you consider cost of Rs. 50k, you can make 2 Lakh profit per acre.

Scenario B - 30 ton yield

With rate of say Rs. 10 per kg, revenue will be 3 lakhs. If you consider cost of Rs. 50k, you can make 2.5 Lakh profit per acre.

So you can see that profit loss depends on yield as well as rate. If there is no demand in market, you can not make good money!!
