10 acre Farming plan in India

If you have around 2 crore for investment, you can get into modern farming with 10 acre land. Here is what you can do!!

Pond and fish farming in 1 acre

1 acre will be reserved for pond. Pond is essential and will be used to store water for summer days. Borewell and well also need to be built. Fish farming is possible in the fish pond.

Fruit/vegetable garden in 1 acre

On 1 acre, we can take below crops. We will select only those crops for which water requirement is less.

Dairy Farm in 1 acre

On 1 acre, we will do dairy farming. Modern Cows will be brought from Punjab.

• Feed for cows/goats will be created here
• Crops like murghas, Maka will be taken here. Excess crops will be sold.

Polyhouse in 1 acre

Exotic flowers and vegetables will be grown here.

House/Office in 1 acre

• Tractor - It is required for cultivation and if idle can be rented
• Tempo - This is required for transporting stuff

Here is the initial investment

• land - 1 crore

• Pond and fish seeds - 3 Lakh

• Fruit and Veggie saplings - 1 Lakh

• Dairy farm - 5 Lakh

• Goat and Sheep - 2 Lakh

• Open field farming - 1 Lakh

• PolyHouse - 25 Lakhs

• BioFloc - 5 Lakh

• Hydroponic - 25 Lakh

• Aquaponic - 25 Lakh

• House and Tractor and Tempo - 30 Lakh

So total cost will be 2.21 crore

But we do not have to invest all money at once. You can start with pond, dairy farm, goat/sheep and veggie/fruits saplings initially. Total cost will be around 1.15 crore. Modern farming will start from next year onwards one by one.

Profit will be at least 20 Lakhs per year. We can also do this setup on 5 acre area as well. Only thing is that space will have to be managed carefully!!
