Object repository in UFT

There are 2 types of Object Repositories.

Local
Shared

Local repository is associated with specific test and action only. You can not use objects inside local repository in other tests or actions. To convert local repository into shared repository, you will have to export the local repository objects as shown in below image.

Shared repository, as the name suggests, can be re-used in multiple tests and actions. .tsr is the Extension of the shared repository. You can edit shared repository using Object Repository manager.
