Here are the steps to file India tax.

• Get 26A form from traces site - https://nriservices.tdscpc.gov.in/nriapp/login.xhtml
• Get Interest certificate for home loan website if any
• Get Capital Gain Statement from Stock broker if any
• Get PMS statement if you hold pms account
• Get LIC reciepts
• Get Bank Statements
• Get Tax info sheet(password - panddmmyyyy) and prefilled tax data from Tax site - https://eportal.incometax.gov.in/iec/foservices
• Send to tax agent
