VMware and Bitnami

VMware and Bitnami are companies, each specializing in different areas of cloud computing and software infrastructure.

VMware

VMware, Inc. is a global leader in cloud infrastructure and digital workspace technology, accelerates digital transformation by enabling unprecedented freedom and flexibility in how customers build and evolve IT environments. Founded in 1998, VMware's core technology is virtualization, which allows multiple virtual machines to run on a single physical machine, with each virtual machine sharing the resources of that one physical computer across various environments. Over the years, VMware has expanded its offerings to include cloud management platforms, networking and security products, and software-defined data center software, among others.

Bitnami

Bitnami, now part of VMware as of 2019, is known for providing a library of popular server applications and development environments in the form of pre-packaged units known as 'stacks.' These stacks can be easily deployed on cloud services or in your own environment. Bitnami makes it easier for users to deploy, update, and manage applications and development stacks on various cloud platforms. By packaging applications for automated deployment, Bitnami enables users to quickly get up and running with their software on virtually any platform, reducing the complexity of software deployment and management.
