Metering is nothing but the mechanism in which camera determines the exposure settings.- Average (Evaluative) – In this mode, Camera will consider entire photo to determine the exposure settings.
- Centre-weighted – In this mode, camera will only focus 80% of the photo area to determine the exposure settings. It will ignore the corners
- Spot metering – In this mode, camera will only focus on small portion of the photo area to determine the exposure settings. It will ignore rest of the area.
